Dr Julian Lewis: Does not the logic of the hon. Gentleman's [Alan Whitehead's] argument suggest that the hon. Member for Witney (Mr Woodward) should now submit himself to a by-election, given that it was the Conservative party, not him personally, for which his constituents voted at the last general election?
